I'm Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus.

I teach Mac users to do more work in less time, so they have more time for things they love.

I've written or co-written more than 80 books with millions of copies in print worldwide in a dozen (or more) languages in the past 30 years. I've also written technology columns for The Houston Chronicle and The Mac Observer every week for the past two decades.

But that's not important…

What IS important is that at age 40-something I learned that I have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (A.D.H.D. or A.D.D.), which was a shocker. And, that led me to my now lifelong obsession with productivity and procrastination…

Which led me to create Working Smarter for Mac Users and embark upon a journey to show Mac users how they can:

 • Do more work in less time.
 • Use their work time more efficiently.
   and
 • Reduce or eliminate procrastination forever.

Working Smarter for Mac Users will work for you—I guarantee it 100%!

I first encountered Dr Mac when we lived in the Houston area and I read his columns in the Houston Chronicle. I picked up on his knowledge, his entertaining style and very useful information. Then I subscribed to his newsletters and continued to get helpful tips for getting the most out of my Mac and my time. This course gives a more in-depth comprehensive way to do a technology-use/activities management tuneup. It was enjoyable to do and worthwhile. Dr Mac "cuts to the chase" with useful implementable info.

I've been using a Mac for many years and thought I knew my way around, that is until I followed Bob's advice. I've learned so much in a single morning alone that it's difficult to comprehend. The problem I faced was that i'd done the same things over and over again, well, they worked, why wouldn't I? This meant in reality that I was stuck in the past and had never challenged the way I thought about getting work done on my Mac, this course allowed me to do just that and as a result I feel I have a new lease of life, i'm more productive, effective and i've fallen in love with my Mac again. There is a wealth of material here for all skill levels and I strongly urge you to give it a go. Well done Bob, thank you!

About the instructor

Writer, Raconteur, Teacher, and Creator of Working Smarter for Mac Users

Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus

My name is Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus and I've been writing about Apple technology for more than thirty years. I've written or co-written more than 85 computer books including macOS High Sierra For Dummies, iPhone For Dummies, and iPad For Dummies, with millions of copies sold worldwide. For the past 25 years, I've been the Apple technology columnist for the Houston Chronicle (Dr. Mac—Tuesdays), and I've been a columnist for Mac Observer (Dr. Mac's Rants & Raves—usually on Wednesdays) for as long as I can remember. My point is that I know what I'm talking about when it comes to using Apple gear and I won't steer you wrong.... My latest project is Working Smarter for Mac Users, a new online course that shows Mac users how to use their Macs better, faster, and more elegantly; banish procrastination, and do more work in less time so they have more time for things they love.I've been fascinated with efficiency since the day I first laid my fingers on a Macintosh keyboard. I can’t remember a time when I wasn't obsessed with finding better, faster, or more elegant ways to accomplish a task on my Mac. After learning I have A.D.H.D. about 20 years ago, I became even more obsessed with cracking the productivity code. Over the years I’ve discovered a lot of great tips and techniques for working smarter. This course is my way of sharing the best ones with other Mac users like you. If you want to learn how to do more work in less time and have more time for things you love, I guarantee this course will save you countless hours, and continue to save you time and effort every day for the rest of your life. Regards,Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitusCreator of Working Smarter for Mac Users
